Clinical Nurse Consultant
We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant (McGrath Cancer Care Nurse – Advanced Breast) to join our team. The role is a specialist position that provides care, information and support for people with cancer across the continuity of care pathways and the multidisciplinary team within the health service and regional population. The Consultant will provide collaborative clinical and supportive care for people and their families, along with facilitation of communication across the multidisciplinary cancer care team.
The position requires expert knowledge of breast cancer care, including health assessment, treatment pathways, referrals and ongoing facilitation of clinical and supportive cancer care. Areas of accountability include the provision of leadership and influence, clinical standard setting and monitoring, policy development and change management.
