Front End Developer (Mobile) – Senior Consultant
As our Front End Developer (Mobile), you'll design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using Xamarin.Forms/.NET MAUI with a focus on both Android and iOS platforms. This is a hybrid position based in Boorloo – Perth. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using Xamarin.Forms/.NET MAUI with a focus on both Android and iOS platforms.
* Manage and enhance offline capabilities to ensure uninterrupted app functionality in field environments with limited connectivity.
* Collaborate closely with full-stack developers, cloud integration teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality mobile solutions aligned with business needs.
* Optimize app performance, usability, and responsiveness tailored for field operations. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure robust and reliable app releases.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile app functionality and integration.
Skills And Attributes For Success
* Proficiency in Xamarin.Forms/.NET MAUI for mobile app development.
* Strong programming skills in C#.
* Proven experience deploying mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms. Experience managing offline data synchronization and ensuring app reliability in low or no connectivity scenarios.
* Familiarity with integration of mobile apps with backend services and enterprise systems. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile development environment.
Ideally, you'll also have the skills and attributes below but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes. We're interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
* Experience with Azure cloud services and mobile backend integration.
* Knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise system integrations.
* Understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices for field operations.
