McMahon Services is seeking a Site Engineer to join our team delivering the Rum Jungle Rehabilitation Project in the Northern Territory.
This nationally significant environmental remediation project will halt acid mine drainage, isolate radiological hazards and restore the site for long-term sustainability and return to its Traditional Owners.
This is a full-time, site-based opportunity for an engineer with 1-5 years' experience who wants to apply their technical skills in a complex, high-impact project environment.

About the Role
Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will support on-site delivery of water treatment and groundwater remediation systems.
You will work closely with construction and commissioning teams to ensure pumps, pipelines and treatment systems are installed, tested and optimised to meet environmental performance requirements.
This is a practical, hands-on engineering role working directly within a live project environment.
What You'll Do
Provide on-site engineering support across water treatment systems
Assist with installation and commissioning of pumps and pipeline networks
Prepare RFIs and liaise with consultants and designers
Support procurement, scheduling and cost tracking activities
Monitor technical compliance and quality requirements
Implement safe systems of work in line with Safety Certainty 2.0 principles
What You'll Bring
Engineering degree (Chemical Engineering preferred)
1-5 years' experience in water, process or civil infrastructure projects
Exposure to pumps, pipelines or treatment systems
Strong technical problem-solving capability
Ability to work in remote or regional project environments
Construction White Card and current driver's licence
Ability to obtain required site and security clearances
