Accountant – Business Advisory

As a member of the division, you'll be involved in complex financial information, strategic advisory work, and ensuring compliance for clients. You'll play a vital role in shaping outcomes for clients while developing your skills within one of Australia's top accounting and advisory firms.
Responsibilities
Support the preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards.
Apply knowledge of client operations, firm practices, industry trends, and emerging issues.
Prepare clear and well-structured work papers to document work performed.
Review financial statements and management accounts, ensuring accuracy by eliminating errors in addition, referencing, and formatting.
Assist in identifying potential accounting issues.
Apply fundamental tax compliance processes.
Prepare income tax returns for clients
Complete all necessary regulatory forms accurately.
Experience
Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting Major (or similar)
1-2 years working in a similar position
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
