Job Description
The Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and clinical services in small animal medicine. This position involves a mixture of clinical, teaching, research, and administrative responsibilities.
Clinical duties will entail primary case management and re-establishing this specialty service at the Roseworthy Veterinary Hospital (RVH). Teaching contributions are primarily needed within the 2nd and clinical years of the DVM curriculum, with opportunities to educate new graduates on staff as general practitioners in the RVH, nurses, and nursing students.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Eligibility to sit for FANZCVS, DACVIM, or ECVIM examinations following completion of an approved residency.
* Membership in ANZCVS Small Animal Medicine.
* Qualification in Veterinary Science acceptable for registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of South Australia.
* Proven ability to contribute independently to a clinical referral service in internal medicine.
* Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of clinical and teaching teams.
