This role features a hybrid work arrangement, with four days in the office to promote collaboration, build strong connections, and enhance team engagement.We are looking for a Procurement Analyst to join our team on a 9-month contract. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, this role supports procurement transformation projects, focusing on driving rebates, improving Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reporting, and enhancing cost efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesTender Management: Support all phases of the tender process, including templates, proposal evaluation, and scenario modeling for negotiations.Data Management: Organise, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of procurement datasets.Reporting: Prepare performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.Financial Analysis: Conduct market share and scenario analyses, as well as ad-hoc financial modeling.Process Improvement: Streamline procurement activities and enhance reporting on KPIs.Contract & Category Management: Understand supplier contracts, identify cost-saving opportunities, and analyse procurement categories.Collaboration: Work closely with category managers, the Head of Procurement, and external suppliers to align strategies with business objectives.Skills, Attributes, and Experience:Essential:Minimum 2 years’ experience in a finance or procurement team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Desirable:Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Finance, or related field.Experience in data warehousing and industries like Veterinary, Retail, Franchising, or Health.Why VetPartners?At VetPartners, we're more than just a company – we're a family united by our passion for animal welfare and excellence in veterinary care.
