The Health Sciences Library is a highly valued partner in the health care team. The Library proactively communicates and collaborates to provide responsive and effective information support at Austin Health and the Mercy Hospital for Women (co-located on the Heidelberg site). The physical Library is located at Austin Hospital, however the library's collections and programs are designed to reach our staff and students anywhere at any time.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Librarian with skills and an interest in communications and community engagement to join our team in January, in a **0.8 part-time** capacity. If you are committed to continuous improvement and life-long learning then this position is for you!
You will be:
- dedicated to working as part of a team
- experienced in producing library communications and digital content including newsletters, social media, website, and presentations
- familiar with library functions such as document delivery, digital repositories, and point-of-service activities
- passionate about customer service with strong interpersonal skills
- committed to Austin Health values
**Experience in health or special library is desirable but not required.**
