About the Role:
A talented leader is required to oversee the daily operations of our community supermarket. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding local staff and implementing retail strategies that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mentor and train local staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles
* Implement our nutrition policy to promote healthy eating options for our customers
* Work collaboratively with the merchandising and nutrition teams to drive sales and customer engagement
* Navigate the challenges of remote logistics, supply chain management, and cultural sensitivity to deliver exceptional results
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a remote or regional environment
* Proficiency in electronic retail systems, including POS, stock control, and staff scheduling
* Certificate III in Retail or equivalent qualification, or willingness to obtain within 12 months
* Strong adaptability and cultural awareness to work effectively in a remote environment
