Job Description
Recruitment Links Australia Waikiki Dental Centre is seeking a qualified and patient-focused Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care to a diverse patient base. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality diagnostic, preventive, restorative, cosmetic and emergency dental services while contributing to the practice's commitment to modern, family-friendly and affordable dental care.
Benefits: Salary range: $140,000 - $160,000 per annum + superannuation.
Responsibilities
* Provide preventative treatments such as fluoride applications, teeth cleaning, and guide patients in daily oral hygiene routines.
* Diagnose patients using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.
* Perform restorative procedures including implants, crowns, bridges, fillings.
* Deliver general dentistry, and participate in minor surgical treatments, treat abscesses, prescribe medication or refer as required.
* Review possible orthodontic cases and refer to orthodontists as needed.
* Maintain and process patient records in compliance with relevant regulations.
* Work independently and collaboratively with the team.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), or equivalent recognised in Australia.
* Minimum 2 years of full-time post-qualification experience in general dentistry.
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Dentist.
* Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development (CPD) and maintaining professional competency.
* Proven ability to perform a broad range of general dental procedures, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative and preventive dentistry.
* Strong clinical, diagnostic and patient management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with patients.
* Friendly, reliable and compassionate manner with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient outcomes.
