As the Broker Education & Training Design Manager, you will play a critical role in building, delivering, and evolving learning experiences that support LMG’s strategic training priorities. You’ll work closely with internal teams to identify learning needs, design best-in-class training materials, and support consistent, scalable education programs for brokers and support staff across the network.
You will lead the design and delivery of a comprehensive ‘train-the-trainer’ model that equips internal trainers with the confidence and skills needed to deliver educational content and programs effectively. This includes creating high-quality, accessible training resources and support materials that enable trainers to excel in facilitation and adeptly address the diverse needs of learners.
You will also facilitate and host on-demand training sessions as needed, demonstrating best-practice delivery, reinforcing key learning objectives, and providing a consistent, high-quality learning experience across the network. These sessions will serve as both learning opportunities for all audiences within the network, and as a benchmark for internal trainers to model to ensure an increase in adoption, engagement, productivity and implementation of tools by brokers and the network.
This is a dynamic, creative, and hands-on role where strategic thinking meets instructional design, helping to drive consistency and capability at scale.
Key Responsibilities
* Training Needs Analysis
Liaise with key internal stakeholders — including AskLMG, GTM, State Teams, Data & Analytics, Compliance, and Product/Tech — to identify emerging training themes, address knowledge gaps, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
* Leverage reporting, analytics, learner feedback, and NPS scores to identify trends, assess training impact, and proactively inform content priorities and program design.
* Content Design & Development
o Design and develop high-quality learning materials aligned with LMG’s offerings and objectives.
o Translate complex processes into clear, engaging, and accessible content.
o Ensure all learning materials follow a best-practice learning cycle (discovery, pilots, design, delivery, feedback, continuous improvement).
o Create content that supports consistency, scalability, and real-world application across diverse learner roles.
* Training Delivery & Coordination
o Create and manage the national training schedule, ensuring alignment with business priorities and the needs of brokers and support staff across the network.
o Collaborate with the National Training Champion (Train-the-Trainer model) to pilot, launch, and scale training programs, ensuring consistency, quality, and effective knowledge transfer.
o Oversee the execution and delivery of training initiatives across the network, providing support to trainers and ensuring programs are delivered to a high standard.
o Lead and facilitate live and pre-recorded on-demand digital training sessions designed to provide all LMG audiences with accessible, engaging learning that drives productivity, boosts adoption, and enhances ongoing engagement across the network.
* Systems & Administration
o Maintain accurate records of training materials, schedules, content updates, and processes using ClickUp (with the support and guidance from the Education and Training Operations Manager).
o Ensure robust version control practices are in place and maintained.
* Quality Assurance & Improvement
o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using feedback, participation data, and performance metrics to ensure learning objectives are being met.
o Report on training outcomes and insights, identifying trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
o Recommend and implement continuous improvements to training content, delivery methods, and learner engagement strategies based on evaluation findings.
* Brokerversity Content Management
o Build and design Brokerversity courses and on-demand sessions aligned to the training delivery cycle.
o Manage and maintain version control of all current Brokerversity courses not requiring a designated SME.
o Use platform data and analytics to measure course effectiveness and identify areas for refinement.
* Collaborate closely with the Director of Broker Education & Training to develop and execute strategic learning and development initiatives that align with overall business goals and broker education priorities
* Work closely with the Outsourcing Excellence Champion to share resources and align on training delivery and outcomes.
* Work closely with Product Managers and internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to build, review, and maintain educational content that is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with evolving product, compliance, and business requirements.

* Creating or managing knowledge base articles (owned by other business units)
Key Skills & Experience
* Strong instructional design and facilitation skills.
* Experience designing scalable training content and programs.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Experience working in or with the mortgage or finance broker industry is advantageous.
* Proficiency with learning tools and project management platforms (e.g., ClickUp, LMS, Google Suite, Canva, WordPress, Articulate platforms).
* Obtain Cert IV Workplace Training & Assessment/ Tertiary Adult Education in the next 12 months.
