About the role
Launceston Tiling Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Tiler to join our small team. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for the installation of tiles of mainly residential projects across the Launceston region. This is a full-time position based in our Launceston, TAS 7250 location.
What you'll be doing
* Measuring and marking tile layouts according to project specifications
* Cutting and shaping tiles using hand tools and power tools
* Applying adhesive and carefully laying tiles in a neat and precise manner
* Grouting and sealing tile installations to ensure a professional finish
* Collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure a cohesive project outcome
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Adhering to all health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
* Certificate III Wall/Floor Tiling qualification required
* Minimum 4 years' experience as a commercial or residential Tiler
* Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Good communication and customer service skills
* A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
* Legal work rights in Australia required
