This QLD state gov department is seeking two motivated Project Site Representatives to join the team with a focus on supporting the delivery of civil construction and road maintenance projects in the region.
In the PSR position, you’ll assist Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and supervising projects on site. You’ll ensure works are delivered safely, within budget & to the departments standards.
Key responsibilities
Assist with managing construction and maintenance projects, including budgeting, scheduling, expenditure monitoring, and reviewing priorities.Apply project management systems and techniques to improve project outcomes.Support project team resource management to deliver works on time and within budget.Ensure compliance with TMR safety, quality, and environmental procedures.Prepare and manage quality documentation and contribute to progress claims.Develop project management plans (safety, traffic, environmental, procurement).Maintain effective communication with project staff, subcontractors, and stakeholders.Calculate material quantities, analyze test results, manage non-conformances, and undertake risk assessments.Provide technical training to project staff where required.
Successful candidate
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, recognized by Engineers AustraliaStrong background in civil construction or roadworks project delivery OR electrical infrastructure/ trade background A valid Queensland ‘C’ Class driver’s license (or equivalent).Sound knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental management systems.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work in a high-demand project environment.Commitment to delivering secure, reliable, and sustainable outcomes.
