We are seeking passionate and driven Provisional Psychologists and Rehabilitation Counsellorsto join our team across Metro Sydney in our Alexandria, Macquarie Park, Parramatta or Penrith offices.
You will be managing a caseload of psychological injuries from a return to work perspective, facilitating upgrades in people's capacity and helping them get back to work; meeting with doctors and allied health professionals, providing a high quality service to injured workers and insurers.
The role is fast paced, incredibly collaborative and rewarding and enables you to:
* Assist with an injured person's recovery, return to work and life following injury or illness
* Conduct a range of assessment and case management services across various customer portfolios
* Delivering counselling to people who are grappling with a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances
* Support people to recover and return to their pre-injury or new employment using your clinical skills and knowledge; &
* Interact and build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
About You:
* Provisional Psychologist (with AHPRA membership and external supervision in place)
* Rehabilitation Counsellor (with Full or Associate ASORC membership)
You'll also need:
* Desire to work in Occupational Rehabilitation
* Minimum 12 months experience in a Psychology related role
* Current Police clearance and Working with Children Check
* Sound communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong attention to detail, critical thinking & problem solving
* Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach; and
