The Role: Rostering Coordinator (Customer Support Manager) reporting to the General Manager. This is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday, integral to all staffing outcomes across the home on a 7 days per week, 24 hours shift rotation basis. Our Cornubia Aged Care Home is located in the heart of Logan (Aged Care Logan – Cornubia Aged Care Facility | Infin8 Care).
The key purpose of this role is to manage and communicate all frontline employees shifts via our centralised rostering tool in Humanforce across day, afternoon and night shifts, enabling operational stability for residents, families and visiting health professionals. This role operates in a fast-paced, dynamic and highly supportive team that prioritises professionalism, quality and efficient ways of working that underpin our culture. As a member of the leadership team, you will collaborate with colleagues who lead other functions to create a supportive, resident-centric workplace culture and brand ambassadors at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- The role acts as the captain of the daily master rosters, optimising staff availability to minimise shift disruptions, handle sickness and leave requests, coordinate backfilling and casual workforce optimisation, and manage labour hire where required.
- Partner closely with the corporate rostering team to ensure rostering system data is accurate and up to date, enabling forecasting for better resource management. They are our expert trainers.
- Lead interactions with staff on site regarding fortnightly allocations, roster changes, picking up additional shifts and communicating available/new shifts to ensure daily shifts are filled with back-ups.
- Lead all training and user access to the timekeeping system and related troubleshooting, including welcoming and training new employees on site-based systems.
- Maintain confidential rostering information in line with company policies and code of conduct expectations.
- Collaborate as a senior member of the care home team to ensure staff feel welcomed, supported and informed across teams delivering high-quality resident care.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects on process, engagement, experience and systems to help operations run smoothly for residents and families.
You will offer
- Extensive staff rostering experience (direct, contractors and labour hire) is mandatory.
- Ability to work directly with operational teams as the single point of contact to ensure staff have the right rostering information to carry out their roles.
- Thrives in fast-paced roles and can maintain composure under pressure.
- Excellent communication with strong attention to detail via phone, email and in person.
- Holds a valid NDIS Clearance or is willing to obtain one to operate within the facility.
- Experience with Roster Bid Manager tools that communicate online extra shifts is highly regarded.
- Experience working with a broader rostering team and site senior administrators to align and strengthen rostering outcomes for operational stability.
- Hold the NDIS Worker Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector, or be willing to obtain it.
