Assistant Director Opportunity
We are seeking experienced professionals to fill Assistant Director positions in our Consumer and Fair Trading Division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex issues impacting consumers and businesses, and contribute to protecting consumer interests.
* You will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of activities, investigations or projects aligns with Compliance and Enforcement Policy directions.
* You will develop, implement and review plans for investigation and/or project conduct, including resource allocation and expenditure monitoring.
* You will prepare internal and external documents, including staff papers, notices, undertakings, correspondence, reports, minutes, briefs and media releases.
* You will foster working relationships and professional networks with stakeholders.
About You:
* You will have comprehensive knowledge of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CCA), including consumer protection provisions and ability to apply them.
* You will have experience managing investigations and/or projects, efficient resource allocation, achievement of standards and delivery of outcomes.
* You will have analytical skills to draw conclusions and support evidence-based decision making.
* You will have strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information to various audiences.
* You will have experience leading a team in a fast-paced organization, guiding and developing staff.
