Position: L2 Engineer Location: West Perth Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (10–12 months, 4 days per week) Position Overview: OUI Recruitment is currently searching for a talented and motivated L2 Engineer to join a leading Managed Services Provider. A key focus of this engagement will be the migration of approximately virtual machines to AWS an exciting, large-scale project expected to run 10–12 months. Roles & Responsibilities: Provide Level 2 technical support, ensuring customer issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner. Manage escalated Service Desk tickets, ensuring all tickets are within SLA requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Handle escalations from Level 1 and provide a concerted effort to solve problems before escalating to Level 3. Support the migration of approximately 400 virtual machines from Nutanix to AWS. Work on continuous improvement for internal processes and client-facing support solutions. Assist with projects as required, including deployments and configurations. Technical Requirements: Active Directory, File Servers & Exchange. DHCP, DNS, VPN & Windows Admin Centre. Cisco. VMware, vSphere & ESXi. TCP/IP, LAN & WAN. Routers & switches. Microsoft 365 solutions. Azure. AWS experience highly regarded. Relevant certifications are highly regarded.
