Job Description
* As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will work on cutting-edge American trucks and fuel tankers, tackling diverse and challenging mechanical issues alongside a skilled team.
* You will conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel machinery, including American and European trucks and trailers.
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems is also an essential part of the job.
* You will keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
* Maintaining a safe and clean work environment is crucial for your success in this role.
* Effective communication with supervisors and other team members is also necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Australian or NZ recognised Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic is required.
* Unrestricted Australian Working Rights are also necessary.
* Demonstrated experience working on heavy diesel machinery is essential.
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems is crucial.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently are necessary.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment are also required.
