The Role
We are seeking to appoint a Marketing and Communications Content Creator to join our team! You will be a key member of the high-performing Marketing and Communications team, working across all departmental functions.
The Content Creator will be responsible for the graphic design, content creation, publication and distribution of marketing collateral including School publications and social media. A relationship builder, the Content Creator will lead communication efforts with both internal and external stakeholders.
This is a permanent 0.8FTE-1.0FTE position, negotiable for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for:
Designing and creating on-brand, highly engaging digital and print content and visuals that generate attention. This includes graphic design, copywriting, photography and video to support digital and traditional marketing communications functions, including but not limited to the School’s social media channels, website, publications, invitations, marketing materials, programs, certificates, handbooks, presentations and related materials.
* Planning, designing and proofreading the School’s newsletter, magazine, yearbook and other publications.
* Creating and coordinating content and graphic design/visuals for parent portals.
* Photographing events and other imagery as needed to support marketing communications functions.
* Creating and maintaining content on digital channels including website, YouTube/Vimeo, socials and more.
* Supporting content evaluation – monitoring performance of digital and other marketing assets.
* Assisting with the coordination, theming and production of School events such as the Valedictory Dinner and regional engagement initiatives.
About You
* Formal qualifications in the field of expertise of graphic design and/or marketing communications.
* Demonstrated success in collaborating and implementing graphic design/content creation.
* A strong understanding of current and emerging trends within content marketing, with experience in developing content and distributing across multiple channels.
* Demonstrated experience engaging stakeholders, communicating, encouraging and developing the ideas of others.
* A flexible approach to work and being adept at prioritising and managing multiple competing priorities.
* A strong digital mindset with demonstrated experience using contemporary digital tools.
