We provide the highest standard of nursing and patient care and we are seeking a qualified veterinary nurse to join our friendly, dynamic surgical team.The successful candidate will be someone who:Wants to further their career in veterinary nursingHas completed Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing and has at least 3 years nursing experienceHas a passion for surgeryIs enthusiastic and honestHas high standards and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work as part of a team, and also independentlyExceptional time management and organisational skillsKnowledge of Rx works / Smart flow will be highly regarded (but not essential)Duties And Responsibilities Include:Surgery patient treatments and carePatient recovery & monitoringIV catheter placement and fluid therapyTaking blood and using in-house lab equipmentCleaning and autoclaving of surgical instruments and specialised surgical equipmentSpecialist surgical and theatre nursingAnaesthesiaRadiology (including CT & MRI imaging)We envision a Full-Time role (38 hrs/wk) in our busy surgery department; however, Part Time applicants will also be considered.
