About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to contextualize data and work within a fast-paced team to implement innovative technology for various domains, including banking, insurance, government, and healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
* Write defensive, fault-tolerant code for production-level data processing systems.
* Configure and deploy Quantexa software using tools like Spark, Hadoop, Scala, Elasticsearch.
* You will be a trusted source of knowledge for clients, articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Collaborate with solution architects and R&D engineers to champion solutions and standards for complex big data challenges.
Requirements
* A minimum of 18 months' experience in a data engineering role or equivalent.
* Proficiency in Scala, Java, Python, or associated data engineering programming languages.
* Expertise in building and deploying production-level data processing batch systems.
* Experience with modern development tooling, automation, and DevOps technologies.
* A strong technical communication ability and testing library knowledge.
