About the Division
The role of the Regional Programs & Partnerships (RPP) Division is to lead, design and deliver sustainable and strategic investment through programs that support and provide benefits to communities and economies across regional NSW. The team is responsible for end-to-end grants administration and contract management and delivers a work program of evaluation and economic analysis to provide strategic insights that support the investment, design and delivery of future programs.
About the Role
As a Program Officer, you will play a key role in coordinating and supporting the design, delivery and evaluation of grant programs and projects. Your strong organisation, communication and analytical skills will directly contribute to high‑quality program delivery and better outcomes for regional communities.
You'll support program planning, prepare documentation and briefs, undertake application assessments, coordinate stakeholders, monitor progress and ensure programs are delivered on time, on budget and to quality standards.
In this role, you will:
* Provide project coordination and support services, including preparing documentation, application assessments, maintaining records and implementing project plans to meet deadlines, budgets and quality standards
* Prepare and maintain reporting and evaluation documentation to support effective program monitoring and delivery
* Coordinate communication and engagement with internal and external stakeholders, working groups and committees to support program objectives and delivery milestones
* Collate data, track progress and identify emerging issues to support decision‑making and project performance reporting
* Support project closure, including monitoring, acquittal and final reporting
* Undertake research and analysis to prepare briefs and support planning and decision‑making
* Draft accurate and informed correspondence in response to Ministerial, departmental and community requests
