Position Description
Sync Lift Engineering currently have exciting opportunities available for Boilermakers, to join our growing Gladstone site services division. In this role you will be performing tasks such as:
* Fabricating and repairing pot shells, frames, support structures & bars.
* Fitting and aligning new and refurbished components.
* Removing worn and damaged components such as anode yokes and busbar connections.
* Ensuring all welds meet QA/QC standards.
We have a number of positions available for ongoing rostered work on a number of sites in the Gladstone region. To be considered for this role you must have:
* Relevant trade qualification
* Heavy Industry Experience
* Current 3 Site Medipass or ability to obtain
* Current Working at Heights certificate
* Current Confined Space certificate
* Current Gas Test Atmospheres certificate
* Positive Attitude to Health & Safety Excellence
* Great Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Successful candidates must be able to meet all site entry requirements inclusive of drug and alcohol testing and a pre-employment medical.
The following qualifications are highly regarded:
* EWP
* Telehandler
* Forklift
* Overhead crane
* Rigging or dogger
