Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Contracts Team Leader to join our growing team. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of contracts, leading a high-performing team to ensure all agreements are compliant, accurate, and delivered on time.
The Contracts Team oversees the client journey from Expression of Interest (EOI) through to settlement, handover, and post-settlement follow-up. You will play a key role in reviewing, negotiating, and executing contracts while proactively mitigating risk and maintaining strong vendor and client relationships. With a strong focus on attention to detail and process excellence, you will manage timelines, monitor KPIs, implement policies, and provide strategic guidance to support business objectives. The role also involves resolving escalated matters and ensuring smooth, efficient contract operations across the organisation.

Job Details and Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership & Development: Supervise, train, and mentor your team, delegating tasks and measuring performance.
* Contract Lifecycle Management: Manage the full cycle of contracts, including reviewing, execution, and close-out.
* Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all contracts meet company standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Relationship Management: Act as the primary contact for suppliers and clients, fostering effective partnerships.
* Performance Tracking: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure contractual obligations and deliverables are met.
* Strategic Advisory: Advise senior management on contract risks, providing recommendations to improve procurement and contracting frameworks.
* Uphold Company Values: Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and alignment with REIF's vision, values, and business objectives
Professional Attributes
* Experience: Previous experience in contract management, procurement, or a related field, preferably in a leadership role. Experience as a paralegal is also highly regarded.
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of (build & land) contracts or contract law, negotiation techniques, and risk management principles.
* Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
