Job Description
As a Senior Manager in Business Services, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of private clients and SME groups, acting as the primary relationship lead. Your role will be a blend of technical review, advisory, and people leadership, with support from capable senior accountants and intermediates.
* Managing and reviewing business services and tax compliance work
* Acting as the main client contact, providing trusted advisory support
* Mentoring and developing senior and intermediate accountants
* Working closely with partners on workflow, resourcing, and client strategy
* Contributing to process improvement and practice growth initiatives
This is a hands‐on manager role with strong admin and team support, allowing you to focus on high-value work rather than volume processing.
Successful Applicant
You will ideally have:
* CA or CPA qualification
* 7+ years' experience in Australian public practice (Business Services / Tax)
* Proven experience managing client portfolios and reviewing team work
* Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with business owners
* A collaborative mindset and interest in long‐term career progression
