We are seeking a specialist who is passionate about one of the industry's leading security platforms and is eager to drive its growth across Australia.
This is not a generalist cyber sales role.
This is a strategic, high-impact position where you will function as the go-to authority for a market-leading security suite, deeply embedded with both our internal teams and the vendor's ANZ organisation.
What the role really looks like
Act as the national product owner and subject-matter expert for a flagship cloud security platform (email security, archive, continuity, awareness training, and advanced threat defence)
Build, execute, and be measured against a focused growth strategy for this portfolio – from pipeline creation through to close and expansion
Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the vendor's sales, technical, and channel teams on joint business planning, co-selling, and high-level customer engagements
Accelerate adoption and revenue within our existing customer base through targeted account planning, upsell/cross-sell campaigns, and executive briefing centre activity
Partner with our account teams to position fully integrated solutions that combine the vendor's platform with Data#3 professional services, managed security services, and complementary technologies
Maintain expert-level knowledge and certifications on the platform, its roadmap, competitive landscape, and integration capabilities
Co-develop marketing campaigns, customer events, and thought-leadership content that reinforce our position as the premier partner for this solution in Australia
You will thrive here if you have
5–10+ years technology sales experience with at least the last 3–5 years spent exclusively selling and positioning one major cloud security platform (particularly email and collaboration security)
Proven ability to carry and exceed a revenue target tied to a single vendor portfolio
Current, demonstrable expertise in email-borne threats, BEC defence, data loss prevention, information archiving, continuity, and user awareness/behaviour solutionsStrong existing relationships within the Australian security community and, ideally, direct connections inside the vendor's local and regional teams
Experience influencing and negotiating at CISO, CIO, and board level – you can talk risk, compliance, and business outcomes fluently
A track record of collaborating with both internal delivery teams and vendor overlay resources to win and expand strategic accounts
