About the Role
This role involves managing pre-contract functions of civil projects, ensuring timely delivery and engagement of contractors and suppliers. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing procurement strategies;
* Assisting management in creating project plans;
* Negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors;
* Communicating with consultants, authorities, site supervisors, construction workers, and sub-contractors;
* Resolving procurement-related issues such as delivery delays or quality discrepancies.
Key Requirements
Candidates must have prior civil works experience or equivalent structural and/or engineering exposure. A professional standard of organisation, communication, and negotiation skills is essential. Attention to detail and accuracy is crucial for success.
