FOH Supervisor/ Bookings & Events Co-ordinator

We're looking for a FOH Supervisor to assist in planning and executing functions to join our close-knit team at Willie Smith's Apple Shed, where every event is infused with the charm and character of Tasmania.
From rustic weddings to polished corporate functions and bespoke gatherings, this customer-focused role is key to ensuring our events are thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed — always with a warm welcome and attention to detail.
About the Role:
Manage enquiries and bookings for all functions and events alongside the FOH team
Liaise with clients to plan and tailor experiences that reflect The Apple Shed's unique Tasmanian offering
Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and floor teams to ensure smooth event delivery
Be present on-site for key functions to oversee setup and service
Assist with relevant event marketing, menus, and logistics
Front-of-House supervisor shifts to stay connected with daily operations with weekly office hours

About You:
You're a creative, organised individual with:
Leadership skills and able to manage a team
Previous experience coordinating events, ideally in hospitality or tourism
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Familiarity with booking software and other technology to for event management
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
A genuine passion for food, beverage, and local produce
Availability to work most weekends and some evenings as required by events
Bonus: knowledge of Tasmanian food/wine or experience in FOH roles
