Warrnambool City Council is currently seeking a Municipal Maintenance Worker.
About the Role
* Undertake maintenance activities in a safety‑focused and legislatively compliant environment, adhering to Council policies, procedures, and performance standards.
* Carry out physical maintenance tasks across Council‑managed areas in an outdoor environment, working in a range of weather and environmental conditions.
* Carry out municipal maintenance activities that may include, but are not limited to, mowing, open space upkeep, drainage works, street cleaning, and concreting tasks, with flexibility to perform additional duties as required.

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
* A willingness to contribute your technical expertise to improve Council’s assets
Position Hours/Remuneration
Temporary full time position carrying a base salary of $68,751 per annum (including industry allowance), excluding superannuation.
