As an Apprentice Carpenter with SS Building Group PTY LTD, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop essential carpentry and construction skills while working on a variety of custom home residential and semi commercial projects. This full‑time role is based mostly around western and northern suburbs of Melbourne as well as the Macedon ranges and surrounding areas and will provide you with hands‑on experience and training to kick‑start your career in the carpentry industry.
This role can be suited to both someone who is looking to start out in the industry as well as for a person who has started an apprenticeship elsewhere, and is looking for a fresh start and being part of a structure that encourages growth.
What you'll be doing
* Assist experienced carpenters with their tasks while learning all aspects of carpentry.
* Develop proficiency in the use of hand and power tools common to the carpentry trade.
* Develop a strong work efficiency that will benefit you in all aspects of life.
