Are you looking for your next challenge as an experienced Category Manager? Look no further! At Bis, we have a permanent opportunity as Category Manager within our Procurement team at our Perth Head office.
As the Category Manager you will be responsible for negotiating, implementing and subsequently managing contract arrangements, which will deliver best quality products and services. You will also continually meet changing business needs, at the lowest possible price and risk profile.
No two days will be the same as you will facilitate the procurement process for all high value, high-risk capital, goods and services, including source to settle, expenditure metric analysis, sourcing strategy, RFP / tender development, negotiation, contract, relationship management and benchmarking; along with engaging with internal stakeholders to drive the development and implementation of long-term commercial and supply category strategies.
To enjoy and get the best out of this role, you need years experience of strageic and operational procurement with some exposure to the transport, logistics or mining/resources industry, and detailed knowledge of the contract process/law. Additionally, any exposure or experience working with JDE (or similar EPR solutions) would be advantageous.
Last but not least, the Bis Head office is based in Osborne Park with available parking, close to public transport and has an in-house gym, cafe and swimming pool available for use.
