Occupational Therapist Job Overview

We are seeking Casual and Full Time Fixed Term Occupational Therapists to join our multi-disciplinary team and provide clinical occupational therapy services to clients/patients using evidence-based practice skills.
The role involves working alongside the team to deliver a range of occupational therapy (OT) services to our inpatients, including acute medical care, palliative care, and pre- and post-surgical care.
* Provide direct occupational therapy services to clients/patients and/or carers on an individual or group level for both inpatients and outpatients.
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, evaluating personal care, domestic and community activities of daily living, home environments, cognitive, and functional physical abilities as required.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
You will also require demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessment, treatment, and evaluation within occupational therapy practice. Additionally, effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate using technology, are essential.
