Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Automation Test Engineer/Tester to join our client's team.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough testing of Superannuation-related software applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
* Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
* Identify, document, and track defects and issues using JIRA and SpiraPlan .
* Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
* Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected by new changes.
* Utilise automation tools such as Selenium, Java/Python, and Playwright to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
* Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
* Provide regular updates on testing progress and results to the project team.
Qualifications
* Experience in the superannuation industry is highly desirable.
* Experience in data migration projects is highly regarded.
* Hands‑on experience in test automation using Selenium, Java/Python, and Playwright. Experience with SpiraPlan is desirable but not essential.
Contract and Location
Duration: 6 months contract.
Location: Melbourne or Sydney (remote work option is available).
