Opportunity
We are on the lookout for experienced Heavy Vehicle Repairers to become part of our dynamic repair services team. In this role, you'll have the chance to work on a wide range of heavy vehicle repairs and fabrication tasks, focusing primarily on truck trailers and related equipment. If you're ready to apply your skills to a variety of exciting and challenging projects, we'd love to hear from you!
Tasks Include
* Diagnose faults, generate solutions and implement
* Weld & fabricate damaged areas
* Electrical repairs
* Axle suspension repairs
* Hydraulic and brake systems repairs
* Wheel bearing replacements
* Drive and operate fork truck
Skills and Experience Preferred
* Knowledge of heavy vehicle body repairs
* Knowledge of fabrication & welding processes
* Knowledge of electrical, hydraulics and/or brake systems
* Good working knowledge of OH&S and Environmental practices
* Body Building experience is a plus
* Previous experience working on Side Tippers and truck trailers
