What you’ll do:
- Lead and oversee multiple complex external audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards
- Coach, mentor, and develop managers and senior associates, building strong, resilient, and high-performing teams
- Manage key client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities to add value beyond the audit
- Provide technical leadership on complex accounting and auditing matters, influencing both clients and internal stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in audit methodology, tools, and client service delivery
- Collaborate with leaders across PwC to support business growth, risk management, and operational excellence
What we’re looking for:
- Significant external audit experience (typically 8+ years), ideally with extensive exposure to Energy, Utilities & Resources or related sectors
- Completion of a recognised CA or CPA qualification
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with experience managing multiple teams and engagements
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to build trusted relationships with senior client executives
- Deep technical expertise in auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and regulatory requirements
- A proactive, strategic thinker with excellent communication and influencing skills
