Senior cloud applications developer

Professional Background:

We seek a seasoned software developer to join our development team. This role will focus on building scalable applications for a cloud-based product.

* This position requires 6+ years of experience working with full-stack applications for commercial Software as a Service cloud products.
* Candidates should have experience designing and implementing secure, containerized applications using a microservices architecture on major cloud platforms such as AWS.
* The ideal candidate will be solution-focused and able to collaborate with engineers to understand problem spaces and propose solutions.
* A strong foundation in programming languages like TypeScript / NodeJS is essential, with comfort working in C++, Java, C#, or Python.
* Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code technologies like Terraform for deploying to AWS is also required.

Nice to Have Skills:

* Prior experience working with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications.
* Experience managing and monitoring AWS cloud infrastructure to achieve high availability SLAs.
* Skill in building CI/CD pipelines and practicing continuous deployment.
* Prior experience working in the mining industry or operational systems like Asset Health or Fleet Management.
