We are seeking a motivated and independent person to fill a Service Technician role to meet the needs of our expanding Service Team.

Environdata Weather Stations Pty Ltd specialises in the design, manufacture and sale of automatic weather stations, weather sensors, mounting hardware, weather station software and telemetry options.

Our weather stations and weather sensors are designed to survive in the harsh extremes of the Australian climate, providing our customers with robust and reliable weather monitoring solutions.
About the role
We seek a dedicated Service Technician to enhance our team at Environdata Weather Stations in Warwick, QLD.
This role is critical to the service department for the installation, annual servicing and repair of our customer's onsite weather stations located Australia wide.
The work is divided between field and office work.
The position also demands strict adherence to safety and environmental protocols.
Ideal candidates should possess some electronics knowledge and have basic computer & Microsoft Office skills.
Role Duties include
Installation and service of professional weather recording systems at customer sites
Preparation of the service reports to final customer standard (Word document)
Service and support to customers
Management and rotation of service stock
Vehicle pre-start checks & Cleaning for your company vehicle.
Organising and preparation of travel plans and required equipment.

Can work short periods away from home.
Are enthused with the prospect of travel across Australia.
Are self-organised, motivated, and able to work independently.
Are medically and physically fit.
Can pass a coal board medical & national Police check if required.
Are familiar with Windows PC environments and application software.
Have a current manual driver's license.
Have enthusiasm and energy to bring to the role.
Believe in going the extra mile when required.
Reside in the local area or planning to relocate.
Team player who can contribute to our efficient operations while maintaining the highest workplace safety and quality standards.
If you have electronics experience or related skills that is highly regarded.
