We are currently seeking an experienced Village Manager to lead Oak Grange, our retirement living community located in Brighton East, Victoria.
This is a key leadership role responsible for the operational performance of the village, team leadership and the overall resident experience.

Oak Grange is currently undergoing an exciting renewal, with brand-new apartments and a modern clubhouse under construction to further enhance the community for residents.
This presents a unique opportunity for a Village Manager to play an important role in supporting the evolution of the village, working closely with Levande's operations, development and asset management teams as the community continues to grow.
The Role
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day operations of the village, ensuring high standards of service, safety and presentation.
You will play a central role in creating a welcoming and well-run community where residents feel supported and connected.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the day-to-day operations of the village and ensuring a safe, well-presented and welcoming environment
* Developing and delivering the Village Improvement Plan, driving continuous improvement across operations and resident satisfaction
* Building strong relationships with residents, Resident Committees, families and local stakeholders
* Overseeing maintenance, asset management and apartment turns in partnership with Levande's support teams
* Managing village budgets, monitoring financial performance and implementing strategies to achieve operational targets
* Ensuring compliance with WHS, risk management and relevant retirement living legislation
* Supporting resident wellbeing initiatives and community engagement activities
* Leading, coaching and developing your team to foster a positive and high-performing culture
This role is critical to ensuring Oak Grange continues to operate as a well-managed, financially sustainable and welcoming community for residents.
About You
You are a confident and approachable leader who enjoys working closely with residents while managing the operational and commercial aspects of a community.
You will bring:
* Experience in retirement living, property management, facilities management, hospitality or a similar service-focused industry
* Proven leadership experience, including coaching and performance management of teams
* Strong organisational and financial management skills, including experience managing budgets and operational KPIs
* The ability to build trusted relationships with residents and stakeholders while managing issues professionally
* Knowledge of the Retirement Villages Act or similar regulatory frameworks (desirable)
* Strong communication skills and confidence using systems and reporting tools
