Our Service
headspace Centres act as a one-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs and/or work and study support.

Role overview:
1. Provide Individual Placement and Support (IPS) vocational services to young people with mental illness.
2. Assist and provide program direction to a small team of IPS vocational Specialists.
3. Provide career development advice, vocational and employment assistance to young people with mental illness up to the age of 25, in tandem with the headspace clinical team, to ensure young people can achieve and maintain sustainable participation in vocational education and employment.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of a Cert IV in Mental Health/Community Services related discipline (ideally a relevant completed Diploma/Degree)
2. Knowledge of the principles of Individual Placement and Support evidence-based supported employment.
3. Demonstrate recovery-focused, person-centered attitude towards people with mental health needs and disabilities
4. Experience leading or managing staff/teams.
5. Experience working with young people with mental health needs
6. Ability to network effectively with key stakeholders, community organisations, clinical staff and employers
7. Knowledge and experience in employment services or other social inclusion services
8. Knowledge of employment related services, relevant legislation and local labour market trends
9. Knowledge of local education providers and the admissions systems
10. Well-developed computer, technology and administration skills
11. Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC
12. Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
13. Current Driver's license
