McNeall Plastics is an Australian-owned success story and current Aussie Manufacturing Award winners. We design and manufacture world-class AustLon® (cast nylon) and Austane® (polyurethane) components for the toughest applications in mining, rail, manufacturing and beyond.

About the Role
You will play a key hands-on role using both manual and advanced CNC equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manual machining – lathe, mill, gear cutter, saws and more
* Fabricate high-precision moulds for AustLon® / Austane® casting
* Cut and plane AustLon® materials
* CNC Router programming, operation and tool setting
* CNC Lathe with live tooling programming and operation
* CNC 5 Axis programming and operation - Largest in Aust.
* Design and set up special jigs and fixtures
* Support quality control, efficiency reporting, lean initiatives and cost-saving projects
* Provide accurate machine times to the sales team
* Actively participate in daily toolbox talks and uphold the highest WHS standards
What You'll Bring
* Cert III Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Machining experience (1st Class preferred – strong 2nd Class machinists are encouraged to apply)
* CNC experience (Router and Lathe) is highly regarded
* Solid manual machining skills (lathe, mill, gear cutter)
* Excellent time management, strong communication skills, and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
* Driven, reliable, self-motivated team player with a forward-thinking mindset
