Lead Hospitality Operations
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic hospitality professional to lead the planning, ordering, preparation and compliance of food service, laundry and cleaning operations in our Aged Care Centers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading, mentoring and supervising hospitality employees, including reviewing performance
* Responsibility for the planning, ordering and overseeing the preparation of all meals (complying with resident dietary requirements) and light refreshments to ensure residents enjoy a quality food experience
* Ensuring food safety documentation is complete and that all work practices meet HACCP requirements. Ensure all corrective actions are completed within specified timeframes
* Ensuring deliveries are received and processed in accordance with our food safety plan
* Monitoring our cleaning contractor team members to ensure cleaning standards are met
* Ensure the management and delivery of hospitality services meets Aged Care Quality Standards and is in line with our policies and procedures
* Participating in the recruitment, selection and orientation of team members in line with our policies and procedures
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Hospitality (or similar)
* Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (or willingness to obtain)
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Sound verbal, written, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated problem solving, negotiating and organisational skills
* Ability to plan and prioritise own work and/or work of others to meet deadlines
* Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Quality and Food Safety Standards
