Investigator Role
As an Investigator, you will play a pivotal role in uncovering breaches of legislation and ensuring compliance.
This position involves conducting investigations in relation to matters raised under legislation administered by Consumer Protection. You will also provide advice on investigations, offences and non-compliance matters.
You will analyse complaints, prepare investigation plans, and gather evidence from relevant sources through appropriate means. This includes collecting witness statements, executing search warrants and conducting records of interviews. You will assess the information received to identify potential offences or instances of non-compliance under applicable laws. Additionally, you will prepare high quality, factual written material in the form of letters, briefing notes, and investigation reports in line with Departmental standards containing sustainable recommendations for consideration.
Your success in this role relies on your expertise in conducting methodical investigations, along with your strong oral and written communication skills. You will also demonstrate proficiency in interpreting, analysing and applying legislation to identify non-compliance.

Requirements:
* Degree in Law, Criminology, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in investigative roles or related fields.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
