Join a major long‐term civil infrastructure program delivering slope stabilisation works across multiple sites between Cairns and Port Douglas. We're seeking Construction Labourers to join the team immediately, with strong opportunities to move into specialised grouting crews for the right candidates.
About the Role
You'll begin with general labouring duties, with a pathway to transition into grouting teams as training progresses. This role suits workers with hands‐on trade or civil backgrounds such as:
* Civil construction labouring
* Bricklaying
* Concreting
* Plastering
What You'll Be Doing
* Concreting, grouting and steel fixing
* Assisting grouting crews once trained
* General construction labouring
* Working outdoors in challenging conditions
* Supporting critical slope stabilisation and safety works across the region
Job Details
* Start: ASAP
* Duration: Now through end of 2026
* Shifts: 10–11 hours/day, 5–6 days/week
* Pay:
o $30–$40/hr + penalties (casual)
o OR $45/hr ABN
* Location: Multiple sites from Cairns to Port Douglas
* Employment Type: Casual with long‐term continuity
Requirements
* Current White Card
* Manual Driver's Licence (MR/HR highly desirable)
* Telehandler ticket desirable
* Experience in concreting, grouting, steel fixing or general civil labouring
* Reliable transport and strong work ethic
