About Your Role
As a Business Manager for Integrated Medicine, Emergency, Child and Youth Services, you will provide high‐level business management, advice and operational support. You will work closely with clinical leaders to ensure delivery of high‐quality, cost‐effective services aligned with the strategic and operational priorities of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.
* Support the Director and clinical leads in providing effective leadership, governance and performance across the directorates.
* Display high Level of interpersonal skills in communication, consultation and negotiation within the multi‐disciplinary management team and across the health service.
* Collaboratively lead and implement program service planning and operational planning, including development of a 3–5‐year service development plan and an annual business plan, complete with business cases and concept briefs.
* Proactively communicate all relevant information to line managers and members of the program's health care team and other key stakeholders as required.
* Direct and coordinate the activities, career development and recruitment process of relevant administration staff.
