About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Payroll Officer to join our team in our Adelaide, SA office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our growing organisation.
What the role involves
* Preparing and processing fortnightly payroll for frontline employees.
* Maintaining employee leave records and entitlements.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations.
* Interpreting relevant Awards.
* Providing payroll-related support and guidance to employees.
* Preparing and submitting statutory payments and reports.
* Reconciling payroll accounts and identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
What we are looking for
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a payroll officer or similar role.
* Proven expertise in the full payroll cycle, including Award interpretation, tax, superannuation and leave entitlements.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
* Proficient in using payroll software and systems.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
