With offices on the Sunshine Coast and in Kingaroy, active projects across South Brisbane, and planned expansion into Bundaberg, we're looking for an Electrical Estimator to join the team and support our continued growth.
About the Role
This is a role with real responsibility. You'll work alongside the Operations Manager, Sales Manager, and previous owner on major QBuild tenders, commercial projects, and smaller-scale estimates. You'll be part of a tight estimating team made up of the Sales Manager, yourself, and a Junior Estimator (with another joining soon), and you'll play a hands-on role in training and developing the juniors.
In the future, this role will take full ownership of estimating across all regions. In 2026, we're targeting sustainable growth in our current markets and expanding into new regions, giving you the chance to lead and shape the estimating function as the business grows.
What You'll Be Doing
* Preparing electrical estimates and tenders
* Reviewing drawings, scopes, and specifications
* Pricing labour, materials, and subcontractors
* Assisting with variations and project handovers
* Working closely with supervisors and management
* Supporting forecasting and pipeline planning
* Using estimating and job management software
* QBuild estimating experience highly regarded
About You
* Electrical background preferred (trade or estimating experience)
* Min 3yrs experience as an Electrical Estimator
* QBuild and /or commercial estimating experience highly desired
* Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
* Confident communicator with good organisational skills
* Willing to travel as required
* Keen to be part of a growing, long-term team
