About The Position
Pentarch Group is seeking an Executive General Manager – Agricultural to lead the performance and long‑term value of its Agricultural Division, a vertically integrated, export‑focused processing business operating across Victoria and Western Australia. Acting as the Managing Director’s principal executive delegate for Agricultural operations, you will update and refine the Divisional Strategy and then translate it into disciplined execution across acquisition and supply, processing and packing, logistics and export channels and domestic sales.
You will be responsible for
* Leading the overall performance, safety, governance and profitability of the Agricultural Division
* Translating divisional strategy into disciplined execution across acquisition and supply, processing, logistics, domestic sales and export markets
* Holding full P&L accountability, including margins, cost discipline, working capital and capital investment
* Leading and holding accountable senior leaders across operations, sales, logistics and acquisition
* Ensuring strong alignment between supply availability, production capability, logistics capacity and customer commitments
* Providing strategic insight and recommendations to the Managing Director and Board
* Maintaining rigorous WHS, risk management, regulatory and trade compliance standards
* Driving operational and asset optimisation to improve safety, throughput, quality, reliability and long‑term value
About You
* Strong commercial judgement with full P&L and capital accountability
* Experience in export‑oriented businesses exposed to commodity and currency volatility
* Decisive, collaborative leadership with the credibility to operate at Board and executive level
* Deep commitment to WHS, risk management and disciplined execution
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering, Agriculture, Business or Commerce (essential)
* WHS / Risk Management qualification (desirable)
* MBA or Executive MBA (desirable)
* Export/trade compliance experience (desirable)
* Applicants must have full working rights in Australia, a full current driver’s licence and be able to regularly travel between our Narrogin site in Western Australia and Mallee site in Ultima. Pre‑employment police and drug & alcohol checks apply for successful applicants.
