Family Services Case Worker
A compassionate and skilled professional is required to provide direct support to individuals experiencing crisis, such as homelessness, financial hardship, food insecurity, or health issues impacting their well-being.
The role involves assessing client needs, providing advocacy, budgeting, emergency relief, and maintaining documentation. Strong administration and communication skills are essential to work effectively with clients facing various crises.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community services, with experience in case management support and a Cert 4 qualification or equivalent. They will be able to build positive relationships with clients and staff, and possess proficiency in computer use and data entry systems.
Responsibilities:
* Assess client needs and provide advocacy
* Provide emergency relief and budgeting support
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and staff
Qualifications and Experience:
* Cert 4 in Community Services or equivalent
* Experience in case management support
* Strong communication and administration skills
* National Police Check required
