Our Client have a career opening for an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to join the team .
Duties
* Responsible for running a workshop with a small team of trades
* Working with the Production Administration and Engineering teams to ensure production time frames and deadlines are met
* Conduct regular Toolbox meetings to communicate planning and team direction
* Equipment maintenance and replacement in collaboration with the asset management team
* Responsible for ensuring all items are fabricated correctly and the QA process is adhered to
* Prepare job packs for all fabrication department
* Mentoring, training and supervising production staff
Skills & Experience
* High level attention to detail, and a process driven mindset
* Ability to read drawings
* Driver's license
* Forklift license
* Metal fabrication/boiler maker or other relevant qualification
* Commitment to safe work processes
* Positive and can-do team player who is keen to develop their career
