About The Role
As a Trainee Water Operator, you'll gain hands-on experience working across Surface Water and Ground Water Operations sites, catchment areas, and treatment facilities throughout the Perth Metropolitan region. You'll be supported to complete your Certificate II and III in Water Industry Operations—a nationally recognised qualification.
You'll be part of a supportive team of experienced Treatment Operators and Managers—many of whom have been with the company for years. You'll learn from the best in the industry.
Your Role Will Include
 * Operating, monitoring, and maintaining chemical and water treatment processes
 * Inspecting and maintaining dam structures, outlet works, bore fields, and conveyance systems
 * Conducting catchment surveillance to ensure compliance with business management systems
Qualifications and Eligibility
 * Live in the Perth Metropolitan area and be willing to travel to various operational sites
 * Hold a WA C Class Driver's Licence
 * Have completed Year 11 or 12, ideally with strengths in Maths and/or Science
 * Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety in everything you do
