About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing operation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of our plant and equipment.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining production equipment, ensuring that all work is done according to the highest standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
In this role, you will also be required to create CMMS orders for every breakdown attended, including details of the issues found, actions taken, and parts used to resolve. You will work closely with the Supervisor to ensure that all scheduled and condition-based maintenance procedures are completed as allocated.
Key Responsibilities:
* Repair and maintain production equipment to the required quality standards
* Create CMMS orders for every breakdown attended
* Complete scheduled and condition-based maintenance procedures as allocated by the Supervisor
* Work independently with minimal supervision
* Ensure that all work is done according to the highest standards of GMP
Requirements:
* Trade-qualified fitter with at least two years' experience in a similar environment
* Experience working in a pharmaceutical or FMCG industry desirable
* Basic computer literacy and ability to use SAP and CMMS systems
* Good mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose root cause of issues
* Able to work effectively in a team environment
